Excellent job!!! I have found this a very well done guide. Very interesting to read. Most attractive. I had no idea that Lima has so many walker-friendly sites to see... of course I know that it is an ancient colonial city... with a rich pre-Colombian history.... now I am certain that I will use every one of my several days in Lima to explore and learn. And I will definitely book a reservation with Senor Omar for one or more walking tours... bicycles in cites are a concern to me... just the walking tours, if U please. And thank U for including the historic articles on homosexuality in the pre-Spanish days.... most interesting. What a terrible pity that the Spanish, in the old days, had to destroy so much amazing culture.... just like my European ancestors did to the native peoples here in the USA. Hi all,

Thanks for sharing good information about gay pride tours. Nice photos you have also taken. As the largest city in Peru, Lima is a perfect mix of old and new. The city offers historical attractions, including centuries old churches and museums showcasing ancient Peruvian artifacts. But Lima is also a modern city with modern nightlife and that includes bars that target gay residents and tourists.
